It was stocked with everything we could possibly need to cook for ourselves and the bed was incredibly comfy. The private hot pot was such treat and we were thrilled to have had a snow day here...every detail was thought of!

When we arrived I regretted booking for only one night. This is a perfect getaway for several days. Entering the house with the spacious veranda and the great view it just felt like home because it had this personal touch (little library..) Kitchen was well equipped. We made use of the washing machine, very handy after 10 days. We`ll try and visit again

We chose this place for the night before heading back to Reykjavik and it was the best decision ever! The house is big and spacious. Kitchen and common area is wide enough for everyone. Have all the kitchenware you need. The house even comes with washing machine and dryer. Rooms and bed are comfy. The host is very responsive and provided us the detailed instruction of how to check in much in advance. We find no problem to find the place. It is a really small, but peaceful and quiet town. But we enjoy our time here very much.

Built in 1929, the property includes sauna and hot tub.... The views from this cottage are beautiful. We could spot Northern lights. Kitchen is well equipped. Nearby to Hauganes and Dalvik. Easy to go for fuel or super market. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended place.
