This 19th century country house, in the Alcanar Oasis in the south of Tarragona, was used by Alfonso XII as a summer retreat. Beautiful setting in an old citrus orchard. Super friendly staff. Luxurious feel. We were upgraded to a large bungalow with an outdoor jacuzzi. Might be the best price/quality ratio accomodation we've ever had.

A very good point of bird observation, even better than the bird observation point. We have seen Flamenco in the cantine, just in front of the house. The boss is so nice and we will definitely choose to come here again if we visit Spain.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious, with a wide variety of buffet options to choose from. The 5 pools outside and the sport courts with the animators kept the kids occupied. There is also an indoor pool and a spa and an open-air pool on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view. The gym was nice and well equipped, always air conditioned. There are several beaches within a walking distance of the hotel, and some hidden amazing beaches to be found some 30-40 min drive away. All and all, a perfect stay.
